In October 1952, the original Rachmaninoff Society recorded the third of its New Editions LPs, a series designed to promote American composers. The composers featured on that disc appear above (left to right), John Lessard, Hovhaness, Virgil Thomson, Sylvia Marlowe (harpsichordist), Vittorio Rieti.
